I don't understand your point. "Even with a muslim in office"? Hasn't Iran pretty much always had a Muslim in office? How is that in any way relevant?
Also, you realize that most of the people in Iran don't believe what the Ayatollah or the News agency that he controls is saying, which is why they are marching in protest of the current election fraud as we speak, right?
I don't get why you would think that the words of an evil dictator apply to all the people of a country, or why you would focus on that rather than on all the people who are risking their lives right now in Iran to put an end to it. This is a really huge deal. If they can start a revolution, this is an historic time that could change everything in that part of the world.
Action Jeans, don't wait for the conservatives to have an opinion on the events in Iran. They have to wait for the Ayatollah Limbaugh to tell them what to think. But seriously, I hope the Iranians are successful in stopping this coup, but I fear it will be brutally crushed.
