Pretty good turn out for DC tea-party

Of course organizers tend to overestimate turnout, and it seems like the authorities underestimate.

To put this in perspective this was a pretty standard turn out for lefty protests I went to in the early 80s, usually to protest the war in El Salvador and Nicaragua. And that was before the internet and without a cable news network promoting it. Leftist groups would bus down loads of people from the Northeast and maybe even Chicago. Some of them were pretty militant. There was one hispanic group that had red berets and military style uniforms and marched in formation. Jesse Jackson and Al sharpton were regular speakers and Jackson was like a rockstar with people fawning over him. Ah, those were the days.

You think the FOX is the only news source these people have access to?
How about the fact, you sir, are being brainwashed to hate everything this country stands for with respect to human rights and individual freedoms?
Tell me what other counrty lets you come from a poor family, work hard and take risk to make a better life for your children? Do you have a child? Or are you one of the selfishly brainwashed drones buying into a one world government and 0 population.
I want better for my child, I strive to be a better Father then mine was for me.

People in Great Britain, Western Europe, parts of Asia, even some parts of Africa and South America have the chance to work hard and better themselves, too. The United States is not the only decent place to live and prosper. It is simply chauvinistic to imagine the rest of the world living in benighted poverty.
