Sarah Palin calls on Florida pastor to cancel Koran burning

Former Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin called on the Florida pastor who is planning a Koran burning on Sept. 11 to cancel the event, and compared the book burning to the plan to build
a Muslim community center two blocks from the site of the 9/11 attacks
in Lower Manhattan.

My Opinion? I believe that Baptist have the same right to practice their free speech as everyone else in this country. And that includes the right burn Korans on private property in Florida, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America. And our commitment to free speech must be unshakable. The principle that people of any opinion have the right to say what they want, how they want is essential to who we are.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - A witness in the injunction hearing against the controversial Murfreesboro mosque site linked local mosque leaders to Sharia law, which has been associated with violence and controversy in some Islamic movements.

Frank Gaffney, president of the Center For Security Policy in Washington, DC noted Imam Ossama Bahloul's education.

"I think the fact that this gentleman has such a distinguished record in that institution, including high academic achievement, is a pretty clear indication that he is an exponent of Sharia," said Gaffney.

While Gaffney admitted to not being an expert in Sharia, he warned that local mosque leaders activities should be "worrisome to the community."

"I see several things that are red flags from a security point of view, I think," testified Gaffney.

In opening arguments, the attorney representing the Rutherford County citizens seeking the injunction claimed community security was at risk.

"The (commissioners') arbitrary, planned and deliberate behavior to examine the multiple uses of the ICM site and the risk of action promoting Jihad and terrorism are not entitled to constructional protection," said Joe Brandon.

I think he makes a very good point. This Mosque in Murfreesburo is going to require increased security. If there was no Mosque, everything would be peaceful, right? The Mosque owners should pay for the extra security, right? Right?

That's your position, right?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Come on ACT speak up the Hillbilly wants an answer!!!
Building a mosque is not the same thing as deliberately seeking international attention for being a giant douchebag.
And by "Building a mosque is not the same thing as deliberately seeking international attention for being a giant douchebag" I think you mean, "Thinking about it, you're right Hillbilly. I did argue myself into a ridiculous position. I wasn't thinking at the time, just arguing. I'll get back to you."
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!
It's the redstate morons that are always saying freedom isn't free.

You're free to be stupid. Sometimes it costs you.
I say burn anything you don't like or want as long as nobody gets hurt - but hey, ain't that the problem here with burning the Koran? Somebody gets hurt, or shot, like our idiot kid soldiers over in Afghanistan. Why not pour pork blood on that freaking book. Why not do some voodoo shit like sticking pins in that book. Those Mother F---kers go after anybody that does even a satirical cartoon about the Moh Man. It's all free speech. F--k them all, and let's get out that place - vaporize the whole entire Islamic world and then just leave. Better Yet, let's put a Cruiser bomb right into the holy shrine at Mecca - go ahead towel heads, where you going on you're next pilgramage? America I bet?
