Van, I have to agree with you...there are threads in here down right attacking liberals started by people on this post and I have found them juvenile and offensive...that said...yes it is funny to see that that's what they believe it is for a place to rally around conservative Ideals...I am not in judgement of conservatives, but he who throws stones in a glass house...we all enjoy the comedy and every liberal I know is 1) an American and 2) thinks these videos are hysterically portraying overexaggeration of the right. So please don't just gang up on Van until you recognize that some of you must first take a look at the digs you are posting.

Hey Darcy, thanks for the comments. When I first commented on this thread, it was mostly to point out to the poster that this was a comedy site. He really seemed to think this was a straight up political site. It's quite possible it I was wrong. I think most of the posters on this site do get it. I must admit at times I can be juvenile and offensive, so I don't really mind. One of the things I like about this site is that there are very few posters, so I don't feel like I'm lost in a crowd. Also it's fun to be on a site where people of different political persuasions can have at each other. Anyway I've got a thick skin, so Conservatives, gang up on me all you want. But if you dish it out, make sure you can take it.

Conservative is not just your own califonia play skit, real Conservatives are the same one's that gave this country freedom, the one with the balls to dump tea over the side of a ship the ones that die for words like Freedom Jackie and dunlap dont play with us.

The American Revolutioners were conservatives like Fidel Castro is a conservative. Conservatives grumble, but in the end, they respect the established order of things, as their parents taught them to do (if their parents were of any account).

People who protest, cause fusses, and whatnot, are not conservatives. While I won't say they're liberals, they just don't have that essential devotion to the status quo to call themselves "conservative".

The colonists' taxes were incredibly low. They started the revolution simply because they wanted to be independent, but they were far from oppressed.

At the same the teabagger parties were going on, the Gallup Poll reported that 61% of Americans think their taxes are fair and reasonable.

Wouldn't surprise me. The fact is, the American people asked for this at the ballot box by a fairly impressive margin. While we don't have to like it, we do have to live with it. That's kind of how the system is supposed to work.
