America's Job Status: Unemployed

Need a job? How about a job that pays the bills? These questions no longer apply to isolated parts of the country that have faced natural disasters or workers displaced by ENRON-type white collar criminal activity. In America, finding substantive work and keeping it has now become a national question of importance to everyone. For a growing number of people, the answer from the business world to the question of employment has been, “We arenot hiring at this time.”As reported by Chris Stirewalt…See More

Che I know that the Mennonites are pacifists but I completely disagree that the National Anthem is full of phrases glorifying war. I don't see any lyrics saying "we love war: "War is great" etc. That would be glorifying war. As I…

Sister Wives: The Concubines of the Cult of Kody Brown

If you want to see another blatant example of social activism at the expense of traditional marriage, go no further than The Learning Channel (TLC). Part of TLC’s knowledge-enhancing program lineup is the show featuring polygamist Kody Brown and his ever-growing, Utah-based harem of “Sister Wives.” The show is spun as a unique look at a non-traditional family that faces the same struggles as regular folks and manages to make it through life with strong bonds of love and respect. That sounds…See More

I guess I need to point this out. When I write articles sharing my views and opinions on issues that concern me, I am not trying to sway liberals such as yourself. I am speaking to people and groups that you, as a liberal can't indentify with.…

Do you vote Che? If so, did you vote for Obama? Yes, Eisenhower said that, but he was also head of the Allied Forces during W.W.II. I live 30 miles from his childhood home and have visited it several times along with his…

Heathens at the Gate: Homosexual Advocacy Group Protests Christian College in Kansas

Low-brow activity, dirty deeds done by daylight, these can only be the beginnings of the words needed to describe the strong-arm tactics of homosexual activists here in the state of Kansas. The gay advocacy group Flint Hills Human Rights Project, which has been on the losing end of a push to gay-ify the heartland, has decided to protest Christianity in a very direct fashion. As reported by Brad Dornes in the Manhattan Mercury, members of the organization recently staged a protest at the…

Barack Obama: The “Historic” One-Term President

As Republican presidential candidates file in and out of contention and Americans wait to see the final line-up of GOP contenders for 2012, Barack Obama stands in the left’s corner alone. The question is: just how alone is the Democratic Party’s golden politician from 2008, the man Oprah Winfrey called “The One.” Traditional wisdom in the politics game is that anything can happen and that a year’s worth of happenings can transpire in a week in the wacky world of Washington. While…

Political Bumper Stickers: Be Kind To Your Vehicle’s Backside

Bumper stickers—we see them every day in almost every form. Sit for a few minutes at a stoplight and you literally see almost every form of human expression slapped across the chrome, and more often plastic bumpers of the vehicles of this nation. The political season is without a doubt a bumper sticker bonanza for the dealers of these sticky examples of free speech. There is almost an endless variety of quips, jabs and simply political low blows that can be…

i like your videos! I like that no matter who is on the show, you don't loose your cool! I can stand to watch fox news, or cnn, because too many of the debates turn into arguments. half of my family are right wing, and the other half are left. let's just say, we don't bring up politics on thanksgiving! I enjoy and respect and listen to what you have to say!
God bless,
April

All right Paul, I'm sorry. I was being mean. First of all I have respect for police officers, it's a hard job. Also I believe that you are a successful radio personality. I've watched some clips of your show and while not my cup of tea, it's not that bad, and at least you let opposing viewpoints on there, unlike some radio personalities. If we met on the street and didn't know each others politics, we'd probably get along fine. Sometimes the internet brings out the worst in people. I will still comment on your articles, but will try to avoid getting personal. If you don't want to read my comments that's fine. I appreciate you putting yourself out there by writing these posts. I plan to write some soon so feel free to snipe away at me in the comments section.
Peace
Van
