We are a Rockabilly, Americana, and Vintage County band from San Francisco, California. Our outfit includes members Sourdough Joe, Gary Indiana, General Ulysses S Balzac, Dr. Zachary Smithsonian, and "Lil Abner Hobbs, all born in the great city of Yerba Buena (now known as San Francisco) between the years of 1849 through 1859. Our dear beloved father, Emperor Joshua Abraham Norton, First Emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico, sired all of us by different mothers during this monumental period. As young men, we would travel to the Motherlode in California and Comstock Lode in Nevada to entertain the many prospectors who yearned for good music and dance. On many occasions, we were honored to perform for the Cartwright family at their Ponderosa Ranch above beautiful Lake Tahoe. We have also had the honor to perform for Mark Twain, Dick Nixon, and The King, Elvis Presley. We are available for barn dances, shindigs, harvest balls and clam bakes.
I use Fang as my screen name because it's the name of our overweight cat. My wife named him that because he lets one of his fangs hang out of his mouth when his mouth is closed.
