Byrd joined the Klan for a year when he was 24. He looks pretty old in this picture, so it has to be fake.
And we have one running for senator here in Florida. I find myself rooting for Crist.
Laws get passed all the time. Often we never learn what they say until they affect us personally or until they make the news in some way. We seem to survive that way most of the time.
Well, that would be one way for us to find out.
I just got back from the gym. Some of us start the day doing something healthful.

Ban touchscreen voting.
There's a petition to ban touchscreen voting at:

No matter what your political leanings, you should be in favor of this. Touchscreen voting makes election fraud far too easy. It's just plain unreliable.
Here in Florida, we have paper ballots that are scanned into a machine that counts them, so there are always paper ballots you can go back and look at, but the voting is still fast and efficient.
