Red State Update

I'm being overrun with Jesus this morning. First, I got a reminder about a survey that I somehow missed that has to do with Jesus and then I saw that Jackie and Dunlap posted a brand new Red State Update that not only is about Jesus but features Him as a (Unseen) guest. Besides that, they're talking about God and Jesus on Coast right now.

I don't know why the Lord keeps working in mysterious ways like this or what He means but it sure is fascinating to watch. Is He trying to tell me something? Or is His publicist just working overtime, getting Him on all these media outlets? I have no idea, so let's just answer qUiXoTiCaT / Freedom CZAR's questions---I'm answering each one separately, even though they're grouped together as single compound questions, because it's easier for me---And my answers are going to anger a lot of people but the thing to remember is that anyone with a counter argument worth its' salt doesn't need to resort to anger, so it's a good test to see who really has something to say and those who just want to emptyilly rant and rave---Hmmm...maybe Jesus is working through me right now and trying to tell you something:

Now... I'm really confused and NEED most desperately to understand THIS before this year is out. Please try to HELP ME my friends!!!

Jesus is a Historical figure. There is no one in their right mind that will dispute His existence or the facts that He lived His life in a loving, kind, peaceful etc etc way. His ONLY crime was that He claimed to be God in the flesh.

He lived with one purpose... to show us how to LOVE PeRfEcTlY. And He definitely DID THAT!

Unselfishly, unconditionally!

Knowing that...

I don't get how people could refuse the GiFt He brings to us all? For us ALL?

His perfect peace and fervent unconditional love forever and ever... loaded with promises of great fortune and blessings in the present day... and a private room that is prepared well in advance for us back home in the Kingdom of Heaven for all time.

Hmmm I think it HAS to be one of two reasons.

A. Is it that people just can't believe in being loved THAT much that they can't just graciously accept HIS gift of fervent LOVE and eternal life?!

Sorry, but I'm just not seeing the love. If Jesus is real and is really the son of God, where is He? Why the disappearing act? This world is a horrible place for the vast majority of people and God doesn't seem to know or care, so my question is, if it's necessary for some reason, why doesn't He appear and explain it? Or at least some of it?

Are people associating too much personal shame and guilt in accepting the gift to begin with?

I think you hit that one right on and it's God's fault for creating Original Sin. I see it countless times every single day. People endure all kinds of suffering and injustice without even thinking about fighting back because they seem to think they deserve it, even though they haven't done anything wrong. Original Sin is ludicrous but maybe reincarnation is real and does play a part in it but if that is so, what is achieved by making people suffer for things they don't even know they did? And why reward all the people who take advantage of their gullibility? I don't understand it at all.

Can they just not take it and be thankful? Joyful in having that kind of LOVE to pass along to others who really REALLY NEED it?

Again, I just don't see it. If Jesus is real and this is the best He can do in the gift giving department, He should just stop giving gifts.

What is it if you think it is A???

I know I've been kind of rough on religion so far but I will say this: There is nothing wrong with Jesus at all and I wish He were real but I'm seeing no evidence of Him really existing at all.

Or B. Is it they FEEL that they are incapable in their obsessive thought of SELF to be able to pass that beautiful unselfish and unconditional love on to others?

Again, I think that's Original Sin. If that concept had never been invented, we'd all be much better off. And if this is really is unselfish and unconditional love, I'll take what's behind Door Number Two. Unless it's worse and that's the other magical quality of life that I like so much: It can always get worse.
